Inez Brinkley has written three books: Walking A Tightrope While Wearing Combat Boots published by Publish America, Embracing the Light, published by LuLu, and the last, A Light in Darkness, is being published now by Publish America. It is a prequel to Embracing the Light and due out this year.
She is from New Orleans, Louisiana, but currently resides in West Monroe, Louisiana.
She is a registered nurse and a licensed and ordained minister. She has served in a ministry capacity for more than 25 years; formerly as a ministers’ wife in a Baptist Church. She is an accomplished teacher and speaker, and now co-pastors a Full Gospel Church
She is the recipient of several awards for poetry, and is published in the World Book of Poetry in four different editions.
She is the wife of Gerald Brinkley, pastor of The Father’s House Worship Center in West Monroe, La. She has four children, who are married and have children of their own.
